 JOY!!

There is a joy in a child's eyes when some new thing in creation is revealed to them. When that light goes on there is a unique moment to learn. Wonder is like a switch that opens the circuit to the soul. It can be encouraged and lead to more wonder, or it can be dampened and slowly suffocated. A prime opportunity to teach about the works of God occurs when that electric excitement of discovery is charged. It is not just a time for scientific questioning, but also a time for seeing the whole picture – complete with the answer. God knows we have that longing for joy in seeing what He has made. He created it in us. This season of Canoe Creation camps and floats are focused on that joy in God's workmanship in the world and in us.

An unforgetable time of faith and fun

 Summer_Camp_2014

If your kids enjoy getting to know creatures and exploring water, woods, and wonders

then this is the camp for you.

This year we have 2, 3, or 4 night camp options for kids age 8 to 18. Your children will learn about the Creator of Heaven and earth by studying His workmanship as they study the Bible.   They live in a family atmosphere and make great new friends as they work together, have fun in the waters, and explore the world with well trained river guides.

RIVER INTERNS AND AIDES

Looking for an incredible summer internship?  Two weeks of your summer is all it takes to learn leadership, river ecology, camping & canoing skills, and enjoy life on the rivers as well.   For an application and information

CREATION VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

If your church does a VBS Program and you would like to try a fun outdoor summer program that doesn't require all the pre-packaged materials, then let Canoe Creation plan an exciting adventure in God's creation for your VBS students.  Lessons from the things you can find out your back door and live animals can become your focus for these explorations of creation.  God's handiwork is one of the best tools that we have to reinforce the message of His Word.

OTHER CLASSES - School Assemblies and Home School Groups with live birds of prey - Outdoor Field Labs on or near your school grounds - Wildlife Habitat and Learning Trails on your School grounds

RIVER RETREATS

MARRIED COUPLES FLOATS - Float with your spouse and take time to see how our married lives are very much like a stream (smooth and beautiful and at the same time tempermental and unpredictable).  Day floats or overnights at nearby cabins or on the riverbank.

YOUTH GROUP ADVENTURES - Take your youth on an unforgetable experience in God's creation.  Build them as a team, encourage them to trust God in rappelling and canoe skills, share devotion times along the river, and give them a moment away from electronic into the excellent!

YOUR OWN CHURCH CAMP OR RETREAT - Let Canoe Creation staff help you design your own camp or retreat by providing equipment and logistic assistance.   Costs for retreats vary, so contact us.
